About this edition

A book, a record, and a structure under revision.

The Eternal Architect is the first proto-canonical literary work within the wider SYGIL framework. No knowledge of that framework is required to enter the forest.

01 / The work

Literature transformed into architecture.

The site is a reading environment and an evolving companion to the manuscript. Its structures echo the book, then submit themselves to the same critique.

02 / The canon

Revision remains visible.

Revised chapters are binding. Older material may remain as proto-canon, legacy, or discarded model—never smuggled back into the present because a page needed more content.

03 / SYGIL

A wider framework, not a prerequisite.

SYGIL continues beyond this book. This edition leaves room for that ecosystem without forcing later doctrine, albums, or operational systems into the reader’s first encounter.

04 / The gap

Missing text is not an invitation to invent.

The synchronized revised source currently provides exact prose through Chapter VIII. Chapters IX–X remain canonically indexed while their unsynchronized prose is left unavailable.

The former universal-construct expansion survives only as a discarded model name in the Record.
